THERAPY FOR MEN AND WOMEN IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
A supportive environment with effective and skilled professionals, where individuals, couples and families can face their difficult challenges and open themselves up to more possibilities.
Hi, I’m David. I help individuals, couples, and families dive beneath the surface issues, discover the underlying causes of distress, and re-emerge into a more self-aware and enjoyable life. It’s an amazing feeling when someone, through our work together, is able to find relief from their struggle or have a powerful, life-changing experience of themselves. I’m so thankful that people share their lives with me in such profound ways.
HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER
When we are in pain, stuck, or frustrated with where we are in life, it can be difficult to find the answers that will give us relief from our discomfort. We need a relational home, a trusted other who can help us grasp our hopes, our fears, our experiences and our sense of self through the ups and downs in life. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that influence your daily life from analytic, integrative, relational, and spiritual perspectives, so that we can locate the answers that are the most appropriate for you.
Carefully listening to the conflicts and desires hidden within your story, through which we can establish new ways for you to live and thrive.
Embracing what happens between us as valuable information needed in our understanding of you and your opportunities for growth and healing.
Drawing upon the wisdom and perspectives of Eastern, Western and Native traditions to take an inclusive approach toward thinking about the human condition.
Exploring your inner conflicts and peak experiences from a psycho-spiritual perspective of human development as it relates to the embodiment of the soul.
MEET OUR NEWEST THERAPIST, THOMAS MEADE
Hello! I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT122042) who has been practicing psychotherapy since 2019. I provide a calm, open, and non-judgmental space in which to be curious as we explore your thoughts and feelings. I see my role as a facilitator for these explorations, reflecting your whole self and reminding you of or connecting you to your inner truth.
WHERE DO I START WITH THERAPY?
Your journey begins as soon as you’re comfortable taking the first step. We’ll start with a brief phone consultation, where you can ask us anything that’s on your mind. Then, you can decide if a face-to-face session is right for you.
